The 2022 US Open golf major tees off on Thursday morning, and Ontario fans have plenty to consider betting on. Rory McIlroy took the RBC Canadian Open a week ago and is listed as the favorite to win the US Open. One of the players that have risen to the occasion consistently is Xander Schauffele, who has finished in the top 10 each time. The odds are close to even money before the event, and it’s certainly worth jumping on this. Of the six players in the pack, only Corey Conners looks the most attractive to bet on. The US Open is the third major of the year, and the winner will be crowned on the 18th hole on July 18-19. The tournament is one of the most difficult in the world, with only one player making the cut so far this year (Jon Rahm) The tournament will be held at Shinnecock Hills in New York City, New York, and will be broadcast live on Golf Channel from July 14-16. It will be the first time the tournament has been held in the U.S. since it was moved from New York to New York in 2010. The event is the first of three majors in the US this year, with the other two being the Masters and the PGA Championship. The winner of the tournament is crowned on July 17-18, and there is no prize money to be won. It is the only major that takes place outside of the United States.
