Scottie Scheffler would have wanted one more win last year. Tiger Woods remains active, but fans want to see him play. The Masters is certainly a target for Woods. LIV Golf needs a television partner for the U.S. and the UK, even if it has to pay for it. It’s hard to imagine the rates coming down to get a big name, but LIV can’t afford to lose momentum.. The PGA Championship is at Oak Hill in May, which could be chilly. It was a reminder that any changes to the invitation criteria would be announced in April, and more on the money list than it did last year as it did the last time it did it as it was the end of the year to say its invitation criteria was to be announced before the year’s end. The earliest Woods might play is at Riviera in February for the Genesis Invitational, which starts a week after the West Coast Swing ends at Kapalua. It’s not so much where Tiger Woods plays as how much he plays, as it is with the PGA Tour and PGA Championships, which are held in May and June.. A 2023 schedule was expected in November, but at the close of that year, only  seven sites had been announced for the 14-tournament schedule. The first tournament is Feb. 24-26, a week before the West coast Swing ends with a $20 million purse in the GenesisInvitational.
