The innovative TGL golf league launches January 7, 2025, introducing a groundbreaking 3v3 format featuring elite PGA Tour professionals. six teams will compete in a technologically advanced arena at the SoFi Center, combining simulator-based drives with a elegant indoor putting surface. The competition utilizes a 64×53-foot Full swing simulator and a dynamic 41-yard-wide turntable green with morphing topography.
Team Composition and Schedule
Notable participants include Tiger Woods (Jupiter Links GC), Rory McIlroy (Boston Common Golf), and other premier golfers distributed across six franchises: Atlanta Drive GC, Boston Common Golf, Jupiter Links GC, Los angeles Golf Club, New York Golf Club, and The Bay Area golf Club. Each team will play five regular-season matches, with broadcasts scheduled on ESPN networks.
Tournament Structure and Playoffs
The regular season employs a round-robin format, culminating in playoffs featuring the top four teams. Semifinal matches are scheduled for March 17-18, 2025, with championship finals following on march 24-25. The competition will showcase 15 of 30 uniquely designed holes during matches.
